DIRECT HIRE: An awesome opportunity for an experienced Concrete Project Manager to join a dynamic team in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a Concrete Project Manager, you will manage assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout, working in close collaboration with the Superintendent and Project Executive. You will be responsible for project financials, risk management, client relations, and team leadership while ensuring all safety, quality, and performance standards are met.
📍 Location: San Francisco Bay Area 💰 Salary Range: $150,000–$165,000/year 🕒 Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday Weekly Hours: 40+ hours (occasional travel)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage project financials, billing, forecasting, and cost controls
Lead project risk management and maintain strong client relationships
Champion company safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety standards
Manage and mentor field and project team members
Collaborate closely with Superintendents on scheduling, logistics, and execution
Participate in subcontractor buyout and contract execution
Review and manage all RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
Conduct owner meetings, job cost reviews, and project status meetings
Oversee project closeout, documentation, and final financial reporting
Utilize project management and scheduling software consistently and accurately
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field required
Minimum 3+ years as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role
Strong experience in commercial or heavy civil concrete projects
Proven ability to manage $10M+ project budgets
High proficiency with Procore, MS Office, and scheduling software
Familiarity with Tekla, On-Screen Takeoff, and Primavera P6 preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications fluently
