Review supplier quality documentation, including material certifications, test reports, inspection records, First Article Inspections (FAIs), and other required quality records.
Evaluate supplier manufacturing processes and quality controls against internal technical requirements and applicable quality management standards.
Collaborate with Engineering and Procurement to establish appropriate quality requirements and ensure complete quality clause flow-downs on purchase orders.
Analyze supplier quality and performance metrics, identify trends, and support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain and contribute to supplier performance scorecards used to evaluate quality, responsiveness, and overall supplier performance.
Support receiving inspection activities and material disposition processes for incoming components, assemblies, and hardware.
Identify systemic or recurring supply chain quality risks and escalate significant technical findings to Quality leadership.
Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Quality Assurance to prevent supplier quality issues from affecting manufacturing or project schedules.
Maintain accurate and complete supplier quality records and ensure documentation meets applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
