Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Supervision
Supervise and lead volunteer groups during team builds, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
Provide hands-on guidance and instruction to volunteers, teaching them construction skills and best practices
Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages teamwork and engagement
Safety Management
Oversee the use of safety equipment and ensure that all safety protocols are followed on-site
Conduct regular safety briefings and inspections to maintain a safe working environment
Supplies and Equipment Management
Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and safety equipment, ensuring that all items are in good working condition and readily available
Order and replenish supplies as needed
Homeowner Communication
Act as a liaison between the team and homeowners, providing updates and addressing any concerns
Ensure that the needs and expectations of homeowners are communicated clearly and managed effectively
Painting and Landscaping
Apply basic painting and landscaping techniques to assist in completing home builds and beautification projects
Train and guide volunteers in these tasks to ensure high-quality results
Experience:
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a construction or volunteer-based environment
Basic knowledge of painting and landscaping techniques
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to motivate and engage volunteers
A proactive, self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
