Maintenance Electrician – Direct Hire
Location: Westlake, OH
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a direct-hire opportunity with an established manufacturing company.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems, wiring, circuits, breakers, and fixtures
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment
- Work with 120/277/480V, single- and three-phase electrical systems
- Use voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
- Perform basic plumbing repairs and installations
- Maintain building systems and facility equipment
- Ensure electrical work meets NEC and applicable building codes
- Assist with equipment installation and start-up
- Document maintenance and repair activities
Requirements
- 3+ years of electrician or electrical maintenance experience
- Certified Electrician status
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with 120/277/480 VAC and three-phase power
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, and NEC requirements
- Ability to read blueprints and use electrical testing equipment
- Basic plumbing and general facility maintenance experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
