Responsibilities for Pipe Foreman:
- Lead and supervise construction crews in the installation and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and specifications.
- Coordinate daily activities on-site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute pipeline layouts and installations.
- Oversee quality control processes, ensuring all work meets industry standards and project requirements.
- Manage safety protocols by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety meetings; ensure all team members are trained in proper safety procedures.
- Monitor project budgets and costs using HeavyBid or similar estimating tools; track progress against project schedules.
- Conduct inspections using tools like an ohmmeter to test electrical components of pipeline systems; troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Proven management experience supervising construction crews in pipeline or heavy civil projects.
- Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of construction management.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards specific to pipeline construction environments.
- Hands-on experience with quality control procedures and troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues using tools like an ohmmeter.
- Track daily progress and crew hours
