Construction Project Manager
Seeking a Construction Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Cape Canaveral, FL.

Salary is between $150,000 - $225,000 per year (based on experience)
The Construction Project Manager leads the successful delivery of assigned construction projects, ensuring achievement of scope, schedule, financial, safety, and quality objectives. This role manages project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with corporate HSE and Quality Control policies.
Experience managing at-risk construction projects valued between $3M–$20M is required. Travel and temporary project assignments are expected.
Responsibilities:
- Lead construction and design/build proposals, including planning, estimating, scheduling, subcontractor selection, and HSE/Quality compliance.
- Develop and manage baseline budgets, schedules, gross margin targets, cash flow projections, and performance metrics.
- Oversee financial performance, forecasting, cost control, and delivery of as-bid gross profit or better.
- Ensure safety compliance with corporate and site-specific plans; promote a zero-incident culture.
- Ensure quality standards are met and contract requirements are fulfilled.
- Maintain proactive client communication to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Manage design professionals and subcontractors, including prequalification, contracting, and performance oversight.
- Oversee procurement of subcontractors, vendors, permits, and regulatory approvals.
- Manage risk registers, change orders, and mitigation strategies.
- Mentor project team members and foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience with PMP or CCM certification).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction or Project Manager.
- Proven leadership, communication, and client management skills.
- Experience managing full project lifecycle: planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
- Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, Earned Value Management, budgeting, and project controls.
- Experience managing general contractors and trade subcontractors.
- PMP and/or CCM certification preferred.
