- Supervise and lead volunteer groups during team builds, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Provide hands-on guidance and instruction to volunteers, teaching them construction skills and best practices
- Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages teamwork and engagement
- Safety Management
- Oversee the use of safety equipment and ensure that all safety protocols are followed on-site
- Conduct regular safety briefings and inspections to maintain a safe working environment
- Supplies and Equipment Management
- Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and safety equipment, ensuring that all items are in good working condition and readily available
- Order and replenish supplies as needed
- Homeowner Communication
- Act as a liaison between the team and homeowners, providing updates and addressing any concerns
- Ensure that the needs and expectations of homeowners are communicated clearly and managed effectively
- Painting and Landscaping
- Apply basic painting and landscaping techniques to assist in completing home builds and beautification projects
- Train and guide volunteers in these tasks to ensure high-quality results
Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a construction or volunteer-based environment
- Basic knowledge of painting and landscaping techniques
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to motivate and engage volunteers
- A proactive, self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Must be able to climb on and off truck
