Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Assistant Project Manager to support a growing Construction Projects team. Key Responsibilities
Process project job setups and assist with documentation and job closeout procedures
Coordinate day-to-day field activities with Field Supervisors and maintain project schedules
Assist with scheduling subcontractors, equipment deliveries, crane lifts, and equipment rentals
Process project documentation including monthly AIA billings and change orders
Support business development efforts by tracking bids, collecting subcontractor pricing, and entering bid data into CRM systems
Utilize project management and document storage systems such as Sage Construction or Procore
Order and track equipment for sales and field teams while providing status updates to project managers and field supervisors
Assist with permit applications, inspection scheduling, and inspection tracking
Gather and prepare job closeout documentation including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and air balance reports for client delivery
Qualifications
Previous experience in the construction or building services industry providing administrative or project support
Experience with service coordination or project management support for mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing contractors preferred
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Comfortable making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work with both internal teams and external customers
Experience with project management or construction software platforms such as Procore or Sage preferred
